Mandy Pickering - The Heart Strings Tour - Nelson

Mandy Pickering's singing career was launched after her winning performance on the last series of 'Stars In Their Eyes'. Following her success she has been performing at events around New Zealand and has recorded her much anticipated debut album which critics claimed was "one of the best locally produced albums ever made" and describing Mandy as "a class act with vocal ability to match."

Her nationwide tour will include shows all around New Zealand and her live shows will feature the Heart Strings guitars, a series of seven guitars hand crafted using timber donated by owners of many historic and iconic Christchurch buildings that fell in the Canterbury earthquake. The guitars will be auctioned off individually to raise money for organisations within the Christchurch Arts Community, to help re-establish the passion and creativity that Christchurch is renowned for. Jason Pickering, designer of the Heart Strings guitars and Christchurch musician, will accompany Mandy on this national tour along with talented musicians, Brad Banks, Jo Barus and Roslen Langton.
