Hair brought by NASDA (National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts)

The showcase production for 2013: the genre-defining, award-winning rock musical, HAIR.
Featuring students in their final year of study and supported by the second year, a large cast, directed by Stephen Robertson with a funky band led by Richard Marrett

HAIR - somewhere in everyone's consciousness is the sneaking suspicion that we know it already - probably because we have all found ourselves part of a generation which is coming of age while the world appears to be falling apart. In this, the story of the Flower Children, "psychedelic drugs, utopian ideals and the exuberant optimism of the young hold the community together."

High energy choreography, a score that generated numerous Top 40 hits in its time and a vivid exploration of the issues that lit up the sixties, this showcase of the NASDA class of 2013 will light up the stage and audience.

Be warned - this show contains four-letter words…like LOVE (and is not for the very young), some content may offend.
