Crusaders Super Rugby 2018

Crusaders Super Rugby 2018

The 2018 season has a very different feel for the BNZ Crusaders, with seven new players joining the squad of 32. Of the seven new faces, journeyman Mike Delany adds real experience to the backline and Ethan Blackadder, son on Crusaders legend Todd Blackadder, will deliver energy and muscle up front.

In the coaching department, Ronan O’Gara has joined Head Coach Razor Robertson and his assistant’s Brad Mooar and Jason Ryan.

The BNZ Crusaders begin their home season on 24 February against arch rivals the Chiefs, and this game will set the tone for the 2018 campaign. The BNZ Crusaders face all New Zealand rivals at home, and we are also set to play the best South Africa has to offer in the Stormers and Bulls in the first half of the season. The Waratahs arrive for a family friendly evening kick-off (5.15pm) and this match is preceded by the Sunwolves, who visit Christchurch for only the second time.
