Winter Starts Here!
36 years on and still going strong, there's plenty to get excited about with loads of mountain action, street parties, fireworks, charity boxing, live concerts, comedy, theatre, family fun and a great mix of internationally acclaimed performers and home-grown acts. This year's programme is packed full of Festival favourites, a couple of 'golden oldies' back by public request, as well as an injection of fresh new events. We have a stage floating on the lake, the American Express Ice Box which will play host to some great acts, a Mardi Gras that will blow your socks off, a downtown rail jam, the best Masquerade Ball ever - and that's just in town! Up on the mountain you can catch loads of winter action with mountain mayhem, dog races sensational skiing and boarding and superb live entertainment.
