Jamie McDell (New Zealand singer / songwriter) has achieved a prolific amount of success for someone 24 years of age. Being signed to EMI at age 16 sparked the beginning of a successful musical journey, making Jamie McDell a household name across the nation. With the release of her debut album 'Six Strings and a Sailboat', she went on to achieve Gold album sales, receive three NZ Music Award nominations, winning Best Pop Album of 2013. Her sophomore record 'Ask Me Anything' gained global attention, seeing album track 'Moon Shines Red' featured on American TV series Pretty Little Liars.

Special guest for the evening is the very talented Jenny Mitchell - Dunedin singer / songwriter (one New Zealand's brightest musical talents). Jenny is a songwriter that blends alt-country, folk, and Americana into her own captivating style. At 19, Jenny Mitchell has won a NZ Gold Guitar Award, MLT Songwriting Award, Southland Entertainer of the Year Award & played to audiences in Sweden, Ireland, Australia & countless shows in NZ. Her debut album, 'The Old Oak,' debuted at number 1 on the NZ Country iTunes Charts, number 2 on the Independent Music NZ Charts & received critical acclaim from around the globe.

Jamie McDell and Jenny Mitchell collaborated on a song previously. Both artists will be performing independently and together during the show.

This evening will be in support of Heart Kids NZ (Otago Branch) - a charity that supports over 200 Heart Kids clients (children & adults) and their families in Otago. 12 Babies a week are born in NZ with a Congenital Heart Defect (the highest incidence of childhood illnesses in NZ) that very often devastates families. Heart Kids NZ's mission is to provide lifelong support to all affected by a childhood heart condition or heart disease acquired through childhood.

The upstairs seating at our venue is steep and has a lot of steps and is therefore not recommended for patrons with limited mobility. Wheelchair Seats - To book a wheelchair space and companion seating please contact the Regent Theatre (03) 4778597. We have elevator access to the stalls seating area from the foyer.

Venue pick up option - tickets can be collected from the venue any time up until the show commences. Door Sales - Theatre doors open one hour prior to the performance start time for ticket sales (subject to availability) and ticket pick up.

Lock-out - The promoter may enforce a lockout for late-comers. To avoid disappointment, please allow time to find car parking to ensure you arrive well before the performance start time.
